I used some painters tape on the sides to visualize the shape and it looked pretty good so I took the plunge. After I did the Lethal Enforcers, I started looking at my OG cabinets and realized there was actually quite a bit of meat on the bone and you could make a reasonable replica. Those are the original side panels and side art. Preferred to just get the sinden guns and mod my own recessed screen idea. Still less than the T2 cabinets have been selling for, although I could see those prices falling, I'm not sure of the modding potential there. SO probably closer to $750 Canadian all in. Oh ya and the holsters cost a few bucks too. Probably a few more bucks here and there on some spray paint, brackets, screws. So in total around $650 Canadian, $520 American. ![]() The Happ coin door (around $70 US / $100 Canadian). I got the art from arcadegraphix during -40% sale, which was great. Sinden Light guns were expensive, but I didn't splurge on the recoil versions, so around $250. The cabinet was really cheap (original asteroids I bought from in canada for $115 Canadian (about $90 US). Build is not too much $$ compared to buying a cabinet. Could use a pedal for time crisis though. Rebel Assault 2 (Dos) is one of my favourite childhood games and works great with a proper flight-stick. Game runs great! I've also added a few "flight-stick arcade games" and I have a few classic PC games that run well with a flight-stick like this.The joystick buttons were automatically assigned joystick 1 and 2. ![]() No setup needed in supermodel now for any buttons. (Example key 3 is for Coin, so I connected my coin switch to 3 on the keyboard encoder). Instead of messing around with changing button configurations for it, I just used the keyboard encoder to connect each button the the keyboard key I wanted.
